You have sixty minutes.

2 to 6 players · three rooms downtown · no actual locks on the exits

60:00

On the wall of every room. It only moves one way.

Three rooms behind one brass door in the Old Exchange District. The latch clicks, the clock lights up, and sixty minutes start behaving like fifteen. Bring people you trust. Or bring people you would like to find out about.

The rooms

Pick your trouble.

The Heist room: a desk with a rotary phone before a wall of deposit boxes

The Heist

1962. The Consolidated Merchant Bank closes at six. At 6:04 you are in the manager's office with a borrowed key, a wall of deposit boxes, and a rotary phone you should probably answer. The Marlowe Diamond is in box 117. The guard walks at seven.

The Observatory room: a brass telescope and star charts in lamplight

The Observatory

Professor Ilsa Vane wound the dome shut in 1927 and was never seen again. Her charts are still on the table, and they map no sky you know. Work out what she aimed the telescope at, before the clock works out what to do with you.

Tricky

2–6 players · 60 min · $34 per person31% escape

The Last Train

The 11:48 to Meridian is nine cars long and one passenger short. Somewhere between the mail car and the sleeper, someone has done something to the brakes. The terminus is sixty minutes away. We publish no photos of this room. You will understand why.

How it works

Three steps to the door.

01

Book a slot

Call or email. A human confirms within the hour and you pay on the night. Slots run Thursday to Sunday evenings, and the good ones go first.

02

The briefing

Fifteen minutes before your slot: the story, the rules, how hints arrive, and a locker for your phone. Arrive early. The briefing is half the plot.

03

The clock starts

The door closes, 60:00 lights up, and a gamemaster is already watching. From here on, everything in the room is either a clue or furniture.

A team celebrating in front of the wall clock, arms up

However it ends, you get the photo.

Everyone poses at the clock wall on the way out. Escapees hold the brass sign. Everyone else holds the other sign. Both make excellent wallpaper, and we email it before you reach the corner.

First timers

Never done this? Perfect.

Hints are free. Three per game, on the screen in your room, written by someone who knows exactly which drawer you have been ignoring.

A gamemaster watches every second, not to judge. Ask the control room what the job is and they will tell you: leaning at the monitor, whispering "the painting, look at the painting." We want you out. We are just not allowed to shout.

Team building & private events

Book the whole floor.

All three rooms at once, six to eighteen people, and a lobby scoreboard that settles old office arguments and starts better ones. We happily send invoices, sign vendor forms, and keep the coffee coming. Corporate mysteries a specialty.

FAQ

Asked nightly.

Is it scary?

No jump scares, no actors, nothing grabs you. This is noir, not horror. The Last Train is dark in places, and dark is not the same as scary. Mostly.

I'm claustrophobic. Can I do this?

Yes. The rooms are proper rooms and there are no actual locks on the exits. Any door out pushes open at any moment, and you can step out and back in without stopping your team's clock.

Can we bring kids?

From age 10, with an adult in the room. The Heist is the right first room for a family; The Last Train is not, and we will talk you out of it at the desk.

What if we're late?

Up to ten minutes late, we shorten the briefing and save your hour. Later than that, call us from the road and we will shuffle what we can. The next team arrives right after you.

Do you do gift vouchers?

Yes, by email within the hour. Any amount or a specific room, valid twelve months, with the recipient's name set in a font that looks appropriately classified.
